Indian Police Force's Rohit Shetty on Shilpa Shetty's major injury - 'She was home for 3 months'

Shilpa Shetty fractured her leg while shooting for Indian Police Force. Director Rohit Shetty has now opened up about the actress' major injury.

Rohit Shetty has extended his cop universe into the digital space. After delivering successful cop films, the filmmaker is now set to entertain the masses with his first OTT show, Indian Police Force (IPF). Earlier today, the trailer for Rohit's web series, Indian Police Force, was unveiled. It stars Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi. At IPF's trailer launch, Rohit opened up about Shilpa's major injury on the set of the web series.

Rohit Shetty talks about Shilpa Shetty's major injury

The trailer launch of the Indian Police Force was held in Mumbai today. At the event, Rohit Shetty revealed how Shilpa has given her blood and sweat to the project. Talking about the actress' injury, the filmmaker mentioned, "During one sequence, she fractured her leg. She was at home for three months. I can't say 'thanks to me' (laughs)."

Adding to Rohit's words, Shilpa mentioned, "It was my first major fall. I just feel so elated that Rohit thought of me to play Tara Shetty. It was written so beautifully. We have given an arm and a leg. He had such a bad accident. What I really loved about playing this part was that it was so gritty and so real. We have done action before but this is the first time we have not used a single stunt double."

Shilpa Shetty's injury on the Indian Police Force set

Last year, Shilpa Shetty shared a photo of her fractured leg on social media. The actress had mentioned that she would be "out of action" for six weeks. She also assured everyone that she would be back stronger. As of now, Shilpa is fit and fab and also attended the trailer launch of the Indian Police Force.
