Director Rohit Shetty is expanding his cop-universe by making his OTT debut with Indian Police Force.

After offering mass blockbusters and cop dramas for years, filmmaker Rohit Shetty is all set to plunge into the world of OTT with his upcoming web show, Indian Police Force.

The series has been helmed by Rohit Shetty and Sushwanth Prakash. It is a seven-episode action-packed series based on the Indian police force. Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, and Shilpa Shetty portray the key roles. Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, Rituraj Singh, Mukesh Rishi, and Lalit Parimoo will also play important roles.

Release Date and OTT platform

The cop-universe series, Indian Police Force will be exclusively available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from Friday, January 19, 2024.

Plot

The story of the show will center on a powerful enemy who is making every effort to hurt a large number of Indians. They have to deal with the Delhi Police first though, before their ideas can be implemented. Between the innocent citizens and the state's foes are Kabir Malik (Sidharth Malhotra) and his hardworking staff.

Director Rohit Shetty will make his streaming and OTT platform debut with Indian Police Force.

Cast

Indian Police Force has some of the most versatile actors in the Hindi film industry. Siddharth Malhotra will represent the classic Delhi-boy protagonist, Kabir Malik. He will be accompanied by Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty Kundra. It will be fascinating to witness Sidharth, Shilpa, and Vivek get together and kick some asses after working in the industry for a while and coming from different generations of actors. The trio will make up the core cast in this action thriller. Apart from them, the ensemble cast also includes Shweta Tripathi, Rituraj Singh, Mukesh Rishi, Nikitin Dheer, and Lalit Parimoo.

Since the release of the Indian Police Force trailer, the show has been the talk of the town. The trailer of the show closes on a strong, patriotic note. An intense action scene showing a menacing attack on Delhi, the country's capital, opens the trailer and the competent Delhi Police step up as chaos and devastation intensify.

The trailer foreshadows a terrible event with the intensity of an unstoppable force. To ultimately save the day, the protagonists Siddharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, and Vivek Oberoi must unravel the web of enigmatic forces endangering innumerable innocent lives.
