Indian Idol 15 is set to premiere soon on Sony Entertainment Television. The promos of singing-based reality show are already out. This time, Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani, and Badshah will be seen as judges of the show. The latest promo features 23-year-old Saloni Saaz impressing the judges with her singing skills in the audition round. It also highlights Shreya praising Saloni for having a 'unique voice'.
Shreya Ghoshal praises participant on Indian Idol 15
The promo was shared by Sony Entertainment Television on its official Instagram handle. It begins with Saloni Saaz from Delhi greeting the judges and leaving them impressed with her singing skills. Shreyas Ghoshal praises the participant and says she has a unique voice. Saloni recalls being judged and criticized for having a manly voice.

An infuriated Shreya further mentions, "Haven’t they heard Abida Parveen and Usha Uthup?" Vishal Dadlani also takes a stand for the 23-year-old participant.
He boosts her morale by stating, "Zamaana gadha hai. Some people will never understand you but those working in the field of music, who can understand this, will always praise your voice because we look for uniqueness and identity. Till the time your voice finds the right path, no one will understand it but there any many people who can give you a direction, so don’t worry."
How did Saloni's voice change overnight?
According to Indian Idol 15 makers, Saloni Saaz revealed how her voice changed overnight two years ago. Saaz recalled she was hospitalized after she couldn't breathe and had a throat ache at midnight. After undergoing a few tests, the doctor informed them that Saloni had a tumor in her throat, which had to be operated on. Once the procedure was over, the young girl lost her voice for 2 weeks. But she eventually healed and her father motivated her.
