Senapathy takes us back to the 1800s, when the Britishers ruled India and colonised the locals for their own benefits. We are introduced to the “war” which took place against the British, as Senapathy narrates the ordeals to the youngsters.
With many atrocities committed by British officers on Indians, we are shown how Senapathy talks about the losses they felt during the time. We are also introduced to Veerasekharan Senapathy (played by Kamal Haasan), the freedom fighter who fought along with the character played by Kajal Agarwal.
From showing that Veerasekharan Senapathy being given the capital punishment to SJ Suryah attacking Senapathy with varma kalai, Indian 3 glimpse builds expectations to save the franchise’s legacy name. Is it capable of doing that? We will have to wait and watch until Indian 3 hits theatres in 2025.
