It’s already known that Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the upcoming S Shankar-directed film, replacing Academy Award-winning musician AR Rahman. However, speaking of the latest, fans have expressed their dissatisfaction with the movie’s music score. Many people have claimed that they missed the iconic soundtrack from the 1996 blockbuster Indian, after listening to the new version. Netizens took to their social media handles to express their mixed views on the background score for not offering the ‘same old ARR charm’.
Indian 2 intro - Senapathy returns!
The newly released intro has taken the internet by storm, as Kamal Haasan is seen reprising his iconic character Senapathy in the film. The character seems to make a comeback to stop corruption. As shown in the intro, Senapathy who had moved abroad is finally making his return to India, after reading that the country is in need of him to eradicate the growing corruption. The movie also features late actors Vivek and Nedumudi Venu. The latter will be reprising his role as inspector Krishnaswami.

The action film features a star-studded ensemble cast that also includes Siddharth, SJ Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Jayaprakash, Manobala, Vennela Kishore and Deepa Shankar, among others.
The sequel is bankrolled by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. The movie’s cinematography is handled by Ravi Varman and Rathnavelu, while the editing is carried out by A Sreekar Prasad.
