Bollywood stars took to social media to express their happiness after India beat Pakistan at the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023

Today, all the roads led to the one and only Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The reason? Well… today was the date decided when Team India will be taking on Team Pakistan in the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023. As it's always considered in India, that any match between India and Pakistan is more of fireworks! Today was no different. Pakistan, who had batted first, went on to make a total of 191 in 42.5 overs, which meant India needed 192 runs to win in the 50-over match.

While the entire nation’s eyes were trained on India’s ‘Men In Blue’. Well, the Indian players demonstrated a superlative display with bowling as well as batting. Thanks to the combined and outstanding team work by the Indian players, India went onto not just beat Pakistan, but also propelled itself to the top position of the points table, courtesy a strong Net Run Rate (NRR). No sooner India won the match, the entire nation was celebrating its grand victory. The skies were full of fireworks and happiness. Bollywood celebrities were no different. Many of the celebrities took to social media and expressed their happiness and gratitude after seeing India beat Pakistan.

Ayushmann Khurrana, took to social media and shared an extremely ‘colourful’ photograph himself and captioned the post stating, “Complete dominance in every aspect of the game. Top of the table. Well played team India. #IndvsPak #WorldCup2023”.

On the other hand, there was Neha Kakkar who posted a bunch of her photographs from the stadium and captioned the same as ‘And We won! What a day’.

Then, there was Sidharth Malhotra who took to social media and posted, “We have done it once again, dominating in every possible way! A phenomenal display by #TeamIndia. Let's keep the momentum going! #INDvPAK”.” There was also Riteish Deshmukh who posted, “Lions have roared in Ahmedabad … Jai Hind!!!!! What an amazing win today - #TeamIndia you are our pride!! Tight bowling - kept Pakistan below 200 -Captain @ImRo45 take a bow -incredible hitting. @ShreyasIyer15 took it home for us- But the player of the match is our very own. On the other hand, there was Ajay Devgn, who posted stating, "The BEST bowling attack, the BEST batting line-up, we have it ALL! World Cup Trophy... Here we come!". Besides him, there was also Wamiqa Gabbi, who had posted a small video of hers wherein she is dancing to enjoy India’s win. She captioned the post stating, “Even “Shaam dhalte hi #WorldCup ki yaad aa gayi… aur suna hai ki hamari Indian Cricket team ne toh aaj kamaal ke saath saath dhamaal kar diaaa… Mubaarak ho sabko”.
