In a first, Jawan star Nayanthara spotted with her twins in public, video goes viral

Nayanthara is busy shooting for Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.

Actor Nayanthara, her husband Vignesh Shivan and their twins were spotted at the Mumbai airport. A video of them arriving at the airport has gone viral. This is touted to be the first time that Nayanthara has appeared in public with her twins.

In the video, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan could be seen making their best efforts to guard their children against the cameras of the paparazzi. Even though Nayanthara was not willing to reveal the faces of the children to the world, she was seen exchanging pleasantries with the paparazzi.

After years of courtship, Nayanthara and Vignesh tied the knot in a star-studded wedding in Tamil Nadu on June 9, 2022. The who's who of Indian cinema, including Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan, attended the wedding and made it a grand event. In October of that year, the couple became a subject of a huge controversy after they revealed that they became parents through surrogacy. Several questions were raised about whether the couple followed all the due procedures of the surrogacy law. Many questions were also raised about its legality given that commercial surrogacy was banned in India after the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act 2021, which came into effect in January 2022. Following an investigation by the Tamil Nadu government, it was revealed that Nayanthara and Vignesh has met all the necessary legal obligations and when they started the process of surrogacy it was still legal in India.

The twins of the couple are named Uyir and Ulagam.

On the career front, Nayanthara is busy shooting for Jawan. One of the most-awaited movies of 2023, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. Written and directed by Atlee, the film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani. The film is due in cinemas in June.
