Impeachment: American Crime Story Season 3 poster out, teases Beanie Feldstein as Monic Lewinsky

American Crime Story season 3, subtitled Impeachment has released its official poster which features Beanie Feldstein playing Monica Lewinsky,

Impeachment: American Crime Story 3 is all set to premiere on FX on September 7, 2021. According to many reports the third season includes the impeachment of the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton, for charges of perjury and obstruction of justice. The show will be based on the book A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President which was penned by Toobin.

Beanie Feldstein features as Monica Lewinsky who shared the first official poster of the series. From the poster, we can see that Feldstein is wearing a blue dress with her back turned towards the camera while looking up at the White House. She shared the post with the caption, “Every side has a story.”

As per the reports, the American Crime Story season 3 will also cover former US President Bill Clinton’s affair with former White House intern, Monica Lewinsky. This is a scandal that shook the American government which ultimately led to Clinton’s impeachment. The story will be told from the perspective of Lewinsky, Linda Tripp and Paula Jones in the upcoming season.

It was Jones whose sexual abuse lawsuit against the former President that led to the revelations about his affair with Lewinsky. The series will feature Sarah Paulson as Tripp, a former US civil servant whose secret tape recordings of her conversations with Lewinsky helped in exposing the affair. The show is bankrolled by Monica Lewinsky.
