Ilaiyaraaja, the veteran musician has been facing brutal trolling on social media platforms, from the last few weeks. The netizens have been attacking the legend for his behavior towards the film directors and other musicians, with the snippets of his stage events and the interviews of the Tamil film industry members. However, Ilaiyaraaja has now hit back at trolls with a new Instagram video. The Isaignani also dropped a major update on his new symphony, in the video.
Ilaiyaraaja hits back at trolls
The legendary music composer took to his official Instagram handle recently and dropped a special video, stating the trolls never bothered him. Ilaiyaraaja revealed that he was aware of the social media attacks and troll videos only after his well-wishers informed him. The musician stated that he has never been bothered by such personal attacks, as it is not his job to pay attention to what others are saying about him. Ilaiyaraaja further added that minding his business and focusing on his work is his only priority, right now. According to the veteran composer, he has been proceeding in his path with absolute clarity.
Ilaiyaraaja completes a symphony in 35 days
In the same video, Ilaiyaraaja also extensively spoke about his new composition - a symphony. Interestingly, Isaignani revealed that it is his quickest symphony yet and was completed in just 35 days. Even though he was busy with the compositions of his film songs and attending events, the legend succeeded in composing a symphony with all four movements in such a short span.

Ilaiyaraaja further added that he would like to share this good news, which has provided him great joy, with his fans. Interestingly, the music composer also stated that film music and background music are quite different, and they can’t be reflected in a symphony. According to the legend, he succeeded in creating a ‘pure’ symphony, in just 35 days. For the unversed, Ilaiyaraaja is now all set to release this new composition, which has been his passion project for quite some time, very soon.
Ilaiyaraaja's upcoming projects
When it comes to his career in films, Ilaiyaraaja is all set to reveal the much-awaited playlist of Viduthalai Part 2, the action drama project directed by Vetrimaaran, very soon. The legend is also composing the songs and original score for the highly anticipated Ilaiyaraaja Biopic, which is headlined by Dhanush and directed by Arun Matheswaran, himself.
