Identity update – The Tovino Thomas-starrer crime thriller’s crucial schedule wrapped up

The important schedule for the upcoming Malayalam movie Identity has been completed, according to the film's makers, who announced this on March 18. Additionally, they have posted images from the set celebrating this achievement on social media. It has also been revealed that the project still has 44 days of shooting left.
Production on the movie, which features Tovino Thomas in the lead role, is close to completion. The much-awaited film, directed by the team of Akhil Paul and Anas Khan, is billed as a full-fledged crime thriller. This movie marks Trisha Krishnan's return to Malayalam cinema after the 2018 film Hey Jude. On social media, pictures of her joining the set went viral.

Identity is reportedly preparing for an Onam 2024 release. If the latest updates are to be believed, Identity's producers now intend to release the movie in September, in time for Onam. The makers of the film have not yet provided an official confirmation for this speculation, though.
Crucial project for Tovino Thomas
According to reports, the crime thriller is all set for a pan-Indian release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, apart from Malayalam. In that scenario, this Tovino Thomas-starrer will represent his triumphant return to the pan-Indian industry and could serve as the ideal prelude to the release of his other highly anticipated project, Ajayante Randam Moshanam.

All about Identity
Tovino Thomas supposedly plays a role in the film that has not been seen before. Identity is divided into three parts. It is said that Trisha Krishnan plays a character in the movie that is equally important, and the directors wrote the script together. Madonna Sebastian was initially slated to play the movie's lead female role. However, the actress left the project for unspecified reasons, and Trisha subsequently joined the film. Vinay Rai and Mandira Bedi are among the cast of Identity.
