Tovino Thomas is busy enjoying the hugely successful release of his most recent movie, Ajayante Randam Moshanam which hit cinemas last week. Meanwhile, the young star's much awaited crime thriller, Identity, is about to hit theatres soon. The movie will be released on the big screen in October, much to the excitement of the actor's fans, according to the most recent rumours.
There are currently no other highly awaited Malayalam films scheduled for release in October. Identity was earlier scheduled to be released in December, around the time of Christmas.
First-look poster of Tovino Thomas' Identity
The first-look poster for Identity was released by the film's makers after much anticipation. It also includes actor Vinay Rai and leading lady Trisha Krishnan in addition to Tovino Thomas. On September 16, the Anweshippin Kandethum star shared the eagerly anticipated poster on his own social media accounts.
The poster features Tovino Thomas with an intense expression, like a pencil sketch. In the Identity poster, Trisha Krishnan, who is making her comeback to Malayalam film after playing the female lead in Nivin Pauly's Hey Jude in 2018, wears a troubled expression, while Vinay Rai sports an enigmatic look. Based on the image, which also shows bullets and a pen, it is certain that Akhil Paul and Anas Khan's upcoming film will be a distinctive crime thriller like their previous film, Forensic, which also starred Tovino in the lead role and is now streaming on Netflix.
Identity's cast and crew
According to reports, Tovino Thomas is starring in the movie as an investigative officer. Akhil Paul and Anas Khan wrote the script for the movie. In addition to Tovino, Trisha Krishnan, and Vinay Rai, Bollywood actress Mandira Bedi is also reportedly slated to have a significant role in the movie. Akhil George is the cinematographer of this highly-anticipated project. Both the original score and the soundtracks were composed by Jakes Bejoy. Raju Malliath produces Identity under the Ragam Movies' banner.
