Diving into life’s choices, I Want To Talk promises an engaging cinematic experience.
The trailer for I Want to Talk is finally out, and it features Abhishek A. Bachchan in a slightly different avatar. Recently, the actor has been exploring diverse genres, and in Shoojit Sircar's film, he is immersing himself in a slice-of-life narrative. The trailer offers a glimpse into Abhishek's unconventional character, which is characterized by a potbelly, frequent injuries, and a limited understanding of boundaries.
Although the two-minute and 28-second trailer doesn't reveal much about the story, it promises to be a refreshing film, with Sircar masterfully capturing the essence of each moment. The trailer shows Abhishek bringing to life Arjun's remarkable journey, complete with his unusual outlook on life and the obstacles he faces. Subtle situational comedy, a trademark of Sircar's work, serves to complement the obvious promise of a life-altering lesson.

I Want to Talk features an ensemble cast including Johnny Lever, Jayant Kriplani, and Ahilya Bamroo.
We also witness the actor's character teetering on the edge of frustration, while the other characters around him struggle to adjust to his circumstances. The trailer captures moments that promise Abhishek to enact as a loving embrace through his character in the end.
Earlier, during an interaction with PTI, Sircar spoke about I Want To Talk stating that the film is about bringing a little smile to life's everyday observations. It makes him pleased every time he sees the film's post-production. Also, trust him when he says it's up there with Abhishek Bachchan's best films. They had always hoped to collaborate, but the scripts they were receiving were never quite right.
Although he rarely directs films, when he does, they tend to be about strange or very interesting people or events in people's daily lives. That some people adore them and others despise them is fine with Sircar. The filmmaker is grateful to those who value them.
Rising Sun Films and Kino Works are responsible for I Want To Talk's upcoming global theatrical release on November 22, 2024.
