This is the dubbed version of Sreeleela’s Kannada debut Kiss, directed by AP Arjun
Sreeleela, who forayed into Telugu cinema with K Raghavendra Rao’s production Pelli Sandad, which emerged as a surprise hit in theatres, is one of the busiest actors in the industry. While she scored a hit with her second film Dhamaka too, she is working with Mahesh Babu, Panja Vaisshnav Tej, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Naveen Polishetty, Ram Pothineni and Nithiin for a series of biggies.
The actress, however, was first seen in front of the screen for Kiss, a Kannada film, where she was paired opposite Viraat. The film, directed by AP Arjun, was a commercial success at the box office and ensured a good start to Sreeleela’s career. Cashing in on her fame in Telugu, Sai Kiran Bathula bagged the Telugu dubbing rights of Kiss and released it as I Love You Idiot in theatres recently.
Telugu OTT platform aha has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the entertainer and announced its premiere date this week. I Love You Idiot is landing on the streamer today (April 7). With Sreeleela’s newfound popularity among Telugu audiences, one needn’t be surprised if it manages to grab many eyeballs on OTT as well.
