I Am Kathalan release date: Naslen, AD Girish’s film to hit the theatres on THIS day

I Am Kathalan, the highly anticipated comedy-thriller which marks the reunion of Premalu duo actor-director duo Naslen and AD Girish, has finally got a release date.

I Am Kathalan, the long-delayed Malayalam film marks the fourth collaboration of Premalu actor-director duo, Naslen K Gafoor and Girish AD. The movie, which is touted to be a comedy-thriller, was officially launched in November 2022. However, the project was later delayed due to undisclosed reasons, and the team went on to make their next outing Premalu, which emerged as major box office success. However, I Am Kathalan has now finally got a release date.

After a very long wait, the I Am Kathalan cast and crew members recently took to their official social media handles and announced the film’s release date. “World Wide Release on 7th November 2024. Trailer coming soon…,” wrote leading man Naslen K Gafoor, who also shared a brand-new poster of the Girish AD directorial on his official social media handles, today (October 19, 2024). The new update came out as a big surprise for the Malayalam cine-goers, who are eagerly awaiting the Premalu team’s next outing.

All about I Am Kathalan

Naslen K Gafoor is set to play the central character in I Am Kathalan, which is written by Sajin Cherukayil. Anshima Anilkumar is set to appear as the female lead in the film, which stars Ljiomol Jose in a pivotal role. Dileesh Pothan, Vineeth Vasudevan, Sajin Cherukayil, Vineeth Viswam, Arshad Ali, Kiran Josey, Arjun K, and others appear in supporting roles in the film, along with a bunch of newcomers. The highly anticipated I Am Kathalan official trailer is expected to be revealed in a few days.

Sidhartha Pradeep has composed the songs and original score for I Am Kathalan. Sharan Velayudhan is the director of photography. Akash Joseph Varghese handles the editing. The Girish AD directorial is jointly produced by Gokulam Gopalan, Dr Paul Varghese, and Krishnamoorthy, under the banners Sree Gokulam Movies, Dr Paul’s Entertainment, and Dream Big Films. The cast and crew members of the much-awaited film are reportedly planning to kickstart the promotional campaign, very soon.
