I Am Kathalan, the recently released Malayalam film starring Naslen K Gafoor, Anishma, Lijomol Jose and others, is all set to stream on Manorama Max very soon, the platform announced on Saturday. However, an OTT release date is yet to be announced.

A crime thriller, the Malayalam film is directed by Girish AD and stars Premalu fame actor Naslen Gafoor in the lead role. The film hit theatres on November 7 and following its theatrical run, I am Kathalan is all set to make its streaming debut soon. Manorama Max has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of I Am Kathalan and will reveal the date of premiere soon. Subsequently, it will also be available on OTTplay Premium app.
I Am Kathalan revolves around a youth who struggles to get placed at his college campus due to arrears and unimpressive projects. This leads to his girlfriend leaving him. Frustrated at how his life has become and that he has nothing to look forward to, and humiliated by his girlfriend's father, the boy decides to extract revenge on the latter by hacking his chit fund company putting his skills to the fore. However, not everything goes as per his plan.
Everything to know about I Am Kathalan
I Am Kathalan is Naslen's second collaboration with director Girish AD this year, after the blockbuster romantic drama Premalu. The actor has been part of all of Girish's directorial films, including Super Sharanya, and Thanneer Mathan Dinangal. I Am Kathalan also features Anishma Anilkumar, Lijomol Jose, Dileesh Pothan, Vineeth Vasudeva, Sajin Cherukayil, Vineeth Viswam, and Arjun K in prominent roles.
Meanwhile, Naslen will be teaming up once again with Girish AD for the sequel of Premalu. Mamitha Baiju and Naslen will be resuming their roles in the romantic drama which is set to release in 2025. The shooting is expected to happen in the UK.
