Hush Hush: Juhi Chawla promises thrilling digital debut with Amazon Prime Video series; first look out now!

Amazon Prime Video made a host of announcements today relating to a slew of titles which will start streaming on the platform this year. One among them was Hush Hush, Juhi Chawla’s debut web series. The streaming giant unveiled the first glimpse of the show today.
Amazon Prime Video shared a first look poster from the web series on their official social media handles today. The blue hued poster features Juhi Chawla, Soha Ali Khan, Karishma Tanna, Shahana Goswami and Kritika Kamra, who are seen with intense looks on their faces. Part of the caption of the post reads, “Get ready to expect the unexpected. The lives of five women intersect in unexpected ways when an unforeseen event unravels the façade of their lives”.

The upcoming series also stars Ayesha Jhulka in a prominent role and also marks the actress’ digital debut. A teaser for the upcoming series was unveiled by Amazon Prime Video at their See Where It Takes You event, hosted by Karan Johar, which was held today in Mumbai. The teaser hints at a thrilling women-centric story. In the teaser, Soha Ali Khan is heard saying, “Hume bachaane ke liye, she killed herself,” hinting at an intriguing story indeed.
The series was announced by the streaming giant on last year’s Women’s Day. Tanuja Chandra, Ashish Pandey and Kopal Naithani have directed the series, from a screenplay, written by Ashish Mehta. The upcoming series is produced under the banner of Abundantia Entertainment, and is produced by Vikram Malhotra and Shikhaa Sharma. A release date for Hush Hush is yet to be announced.
In addition to Hush Hush, Amazon Prime Video also announced a host of other titles such as Vidya Baan’s Neeyat, Shahid Kapoor’s Farzi, Naga Chaitanya's Dhootha, Arya’s The Village and more.
