A day ago, when the video of the song Hua Main from the upcoming Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal dropped, audiences could not stop raving about the steamy chemistry of the lead pair, including several lip-locks. The song is part of the narrative where Ranbir and Rashmika break the news of their relationship to family members, much to their disapproval, and instead of offering an explanation, seal the deal with a kiss. But as the day wore on and netizens began discussing other aspects of the song, it soon emerged that many of them thought that the actress was playing a visually-challenged character in the film.

Comments ranged from, “Why is Rashmika acting like a blind person in the new song from Animal?” to “Rashmika’s eyes look lifeless, like she is playing a blind person”, “After watching #HuaMain song, 1 thing is clear, as good an actor #Rashmika is in south, she struggles here in Bollywood. Seems to be blind in entire song. Also, it is quite similar expression what she did in the entire move #MissionMajnu,” among others. Several netizens thought that her expression or rather lack of it was a hint to the fact that her character would be visually-challenged and posed the question on social media.
