While Bollywood is currently left shocked at how one of their own from the fraternity, Saif Ali Khan, was a target of an assassination attempt Hrithik Roshan recalled how his own father Rakesh Roshan went through an assassination attempt back in 2000. In the docu-series, The Roshans, Hrithik recalled in detail the moment when his 'Superman' father turned vulnerable after the attack. Co-incidentally, it happened the same year as Hrithik's debut film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai released in theatres.

Hrithik Roshan felt unafraid for his 'superman' father despite the assassination attempt

Hrithik Roshan saw red blood on the sheets when he visited his father in the hospital but was not afraid because, to him, his father was Superman. After one second of fear, he saw his father talking and laughing almost as if nothing happened. That gave him confidence that things would be alright.
