Housefull 5: Akshay Kumar and co. head to picturesque town of Sidmouth for shoot; UK schedule to be wrapped by THIS date?

Akshay Kumar and team Housefull 5 are likely to wrap up the UK schedule by mid-October. As of now, they're heading to a picturesque town for the shoot.

The team of Housefull 5 kickstarted the film's shoot in the United Kingdom last month. Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, and other members of the cast have been shooting for the comic caper for nearly a month now. The filming of Housefull 5 happened on a luxury cruise liner for several days. The latest update is that the cast and crew have reportedly made a pit stop in the town of Sidmouth. Over the next two weeks, Housefull 5 will be shot in Sidmouth, Exter, London, and other cities in the UK.

Talking about Housefull 5, a source told Mid-Day, the narrative of the film unfolds on a cruise. The cruise set sail from Newcastle to Spain, Normandy, and then Honfleur in France. It returned to Plymouth in England. "From October 2, the unit began shooting in the picturesque town of Sidmouth, which is a couple of hours away from London. The plan is to wrap up the UK leg by October 16," a source told the tabloid.

Once the star cast returns to India, they will begin working on the Mumbai schedule of Housefull 5. The report suggests that Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, and Nana Patekar will join the team in the Mumbai schedule. Since Dutt's application for a UK visa got rejected, Sajid Nadiawadla considered shooting his portions in the city.

"When the actor’s application for the UK visa got rejected, hindering his Son of Sardaar 2 shoot, Sajid chose a wiser route by ensuring that all of the actor’s Housefull 5 portions would be set in Mumbai. Huge sets representing the interiors of the luxury ship will be erected in a Mumbai studio, where the climax will be shot with the entire cast," a source was quoted as saying.

When will Housefull 5 be released?

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 will hit the silver screen on June 6, 2025. The movie has been produced by Sajid Nadiawala under his production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
