Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare trailer: Chaos, crime & cameos in a wild, wild country
The Hostel Hudugaru are soon to be unleashed and if the maiden trailer of the film suggests anything, they are all set to run a massive riot. Earlier today, July 10, the first trailer of Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare and more than just offering a glimpse into the mad, mad world, the video serves as a blaring warning to all of us to brace ourselves.
As the title suggests, the film is about Hudugaru or boys, their beloved hostel premises and the usual chaos that they live in, until one grave "incident", if you will, intensifies things to a whole new "high". Sh*t hits the roof on that one eventful night, to put it mildly.
What's incredibly striking about the trailer, though, is the visceral manner in which the drama unfolds and what the trailer presents is only the tip of the berg, one gathers. Nithin Krishnamurthy, the debutant writer-director of the film, tells OTTplay that there are as many as 300 artists in the film (with close to 15 principal characters!) but it is quite apparent that there is an order to the chaos in the film and each movement of the cast is orchestrated within a context.
Arvind S. Kashyap, the man behind the camera on films like 777 Charlie and Kantara, showcases a new shade of his artistry and captures the mayhem and the shrill of Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare in such a way that it feels as though his lens is one among the crowd.
Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare is set to release in theatres worldwide on July 21, 2023.
If the promise of laughs, an intriguing plot and a whole inventiveness isn't luring enough, Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare boasts not one but multiple cameos from major Kannada superstars, including Sandalwood Queen Ramya, Rishab Shetty, Pawan Kumar and Diganth Manchale. Who knows, one might encounter many more such surprises in the full-length film! Rakshit Shetty presents the film under the Paramvah Studios banner.
