Streaming giant Netflix unveiled a captivating trailer nearly an hour ago, along with the official release date that is slated to premiere this month.

The upcoming true crime series with some of the most brutal murder cases in New York is all set to be released on March 20. Homicide: New York is backed up by Dick Wolf’s established name in the crime and police procedural genre, along with his production company, Wolf Entertainment.
The first part of the Homicide docuseries, titled “Homicide: New York,” will feature some of the jaw-dropping criminal cases of the “Big Apple city.” Each episode retells the infamous and brutal murder cases with the eyewitnesses and first-hand experiences of the police detectives and prosecutors involved in the criminal units.
In the 1:16-minute trailer, we witness several talking heads sharing some of the gut-wrenching and disturbing murder mystery cases.
One of the eyewitnesses recalled the execution-style shooting case that shook her to the core. The docuseries aims to unfold the murder mystery in Central Park and other popular spots in the big city. The increasing crime rate made the police force uneasy, and they did everything to bring justice to the innocent victims of such heinous crimes. “Every murder case takes a piece out of your soul,” one of the officers said to the camera.
The series is expected to feature some harrowing murder cases and the retelling of the investigations by homicide detectives and legal prosecutors. We relive the tragic incidents from the perspective of people who did everything in their power to fight for justice.
