The upcoming Polish series is based on the 2008 crime thriller novel of the same name written by Harlan Coben
Netflix is back with another intriguing crime thriller series. Titled Hold Tight, this upcoming Polish series is the latest Harlan Coben adaptation the streaming giant has developed.
The trailer introduces us to a couple, whose life takes a turn when their eldest son, Adam, goes missing. As the worried parents try to make sense of what actually happened to their son, they come to the realisation that their son’s disappearance is more complicated than it seems. The search leads to more mysteries coming up. The town is also left shocked by a gruesome murder.

The series stars Magdalena Boczarska, Krzysztof Oleksyn, Jacek Poniedziałek, Justyna Wasilewska, Wiktoria Gorodeckaja and Bartłomiej Topa.
The official synopsis of the show by Netflix reads “When a young man goes missing soon after his friend dies, life in a tight-knit, affluent Warsaw suburb slowly unravels, exposing secrets and lies.”
Michał Gazda and Bartosz Konopka have directed the series. Hold Tight is adapted from Coben’s 2008 crime thriller novel of the same name.
The upcoming series is a part of the deal Coben has signed with the streaming giant, under which his books will be developed as Netflix original shows. Coben is also granted the right to serve as executive producers of the shows produced under the deal.
Coben’s previous books such as The Stranger, The Woods, The Innocent, Gone For Good and Stay Close also received Netflix adaptations in different languages such as French, Polish and English.
Hold Tight will be available to stream on Netflix from April 22. The series consists of six episodes.
