Natural star Nani is flying high with the success of his latest film Dasara which clocked over Rs 100 crores at the box office. He is now giving the finishing touches to his latest film which is being directed by debutante Shouryuv. Mrunal Thakur, who is high on the success of Sita Ramam has been paired opposite Nani in this family drama.
Nani30 is the story of a single father played by Nani and has music by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The makers have released the title glimpse and named the film Hi Nanna. The title glimpse showcases Nani in a very stylish avatar with long hair and he plays a filmmaker in Hi Nanna. Kiara Khanna plays Nani's daughter in the film and Mrunal Thakur is playing her friend who gets introduced to Nani in a very interesting way.
By the looks of it, Hi Nanna is the love story of a single father with a past and Mrunal Thakur plays the lady in love. Nani is seen in a very emotional role in the film. Going back in time, Nani played a dad in the award-winning film Jersey and now, he is playng a dad once again in Hi Nanna. But the premise and setup are different as the love story is mature and has so many heartbreaking moments.
Hi Nanna is set in Goa and Mrunal Thakur is seen in a stylish avatar in this film. What draws your attention in the teaser is the soothing background score by Hesham Abdul Wahab. He elevates the emotions in a beautiful manner. The first-look poster exudes a delightful charm, with a baby seated on Nani's shoulders playfully sending a flying kiss to Mrunal, who stands behind them. Both Nani and Mrunal are depicted holding mobile phones.
Slated for a December 21st release, the film is produced by Mohan Cherukuri and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala under the banner of Vyra Entertainments. Koti Paruchuri is the COO. The teaser is getting a good response already and Nani has once again proved that he believes in content more than anyone else.
