There are more South Indian films among the top 10 films available on Netflix. This list features Telugu film Hi Nanna, Nayanthara’s Annapoorani, and the true crime documentary Curry & Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case.

Nani-starrer Hi Nanna tops the list, with the audience praising the actor and female lead, Mrunal Thakur's, chemistry and heartwarming performances. The Hindi and Tamil versions of the romantic drama film are in sixth and tenth place, respectively, on the list.

Shouryuv marks his directorial debut with the emotional drama, also featuring Shruti Haasan, Niharika Konidela, Jayaram, and Baby Kiara Khanna in other prominent roles. Mohan Cherukuri and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala have produced the movie under Vyra Entertainments.

The heartwarming tale revolves around six-year-old Mahi and her father, Viraj. Everything between the father and the daughter changes when Yashna, a young woman, enters into their lives. Hi Nanna was released in theatres on December 7.

Nayanthara’s Annapoorani, which began streaming on the OTT platform on December 29, is in second place among the top 10 films. The film chronicles Annapoorani's journey towards realising her dream of becoming a chef and the challenges she faces along the way. The supporting cast includes Sathyaraj, Jai, Achyuth Kumar, K S Ravikumar, and Karthik Kumar.

Curry and Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case has been among Netflix's top-10 films for the past few weeks since its release on the platform. The true crime documentary centres on the shocking 2019 Koodathayi case that rocked Kerala.

The documentary, which delves into the investigation into the inexplicable deaths of six members of the same family who lived in Koodathayi, Kozhikode, was released by the OTT platform on December 22. Curry and Cyanide is available in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, English, and Malayalam.

Other movies on the list

The other films listed in the top 10 on Netflix this week are Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video, Three of Us, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, and Shastry Virudh Shastry.
