Achamillai will be the first time Dulquer Salmaan is singing in Tamil
Dulquer Salmaan’s next project that is coming up is Hey Sinamika and the fans are eagerly waiting for more updates about the movie. The star has now shared a short promotional video for the song titled Achamillai from the movie.
Salmaan took to his social media to share the video, which also confirms that he will be singing the song as well, making Achamillai the first Tamil song the actor is singing in his career.
As confirmed by the actor’s post, Achamillai which is also the first single from Hey Sinamika is set to release on January 14.
Written by Madhan Karky and composed by Govind Vasantha, the song sounds like a peppy number that will appeal to the youth.
While Achamillai is the first Tamil song the star is singing, he has previously sung a number of songs for Malayalam movies such as Johny Mone Johny from ABCD: American-Born Confused Desi, Chundari Penne from Charlie, Ormakal from Parava and Dingiri Dingale from Kurup.
Hey Sinamika is a romantic comedy directed by National Award winning dance choreographer Brinda. Also starring Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari, the movie will see Salmaan play the role of a young man named Yaazhan.
Salmaan has impressed fans across the country with his performance in Kurup which was also released on streaming giants Netflix following its theatrical release.
The actor is also gearing up for the release of the much anticipated crime thriller Salute directed by Rosshan Andrrews.
