Heropanti 2 vs Runway 34 clash: Tiger Shroff opens up about his film facing Ajay Devgn’s directorial

Heropanti 2 starring Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria as well as Runway 34 starring Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan are set to release on April 29

This Eid, Heropanti 2 and Runway 34, two Bollywood films, will lock horns at the box office. With both the movies set to release on April 29, Tiger Shroff, who headlines Heropanti 2, has now opened up about the clash.

Reported by Pinkvilla, the actor said, “I can’t compare to such major superstars like Ajay Sir and Amitabh Bachchan Sir. I have way too much respect for and love for them to be spoken about in the same breath as them. With a date like Eid, both films can flourish together.

He added that the fans could watch his film on Eid and Ajay Devgn’s film on Basi Eid or vice versa. The actor also commented on Runway 34, saying that the movie looks fantastic and that he is eager to watch it.

Heropanti 2 is a romantic action thriller directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. A sequel to 2014’s Heropanti, starring Shroff, the movie also stars Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles.

The makers released a song from the movie yesterday, titled "DaFa Kar." Composed, arranged, and produced by AR Rahman, the song has over 11 million views on YouTube.

Runway 34 is a thriller drama directed, produced, and starring Ajay Devgn. Also featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, Angira Dhar, and Aakanksha Singh, the thriller is based on true events.

The official trailer for the movie was recently released by the makers and has received praise from the fans.
