The actor plays the female lead in Heropanti 2 starring Tiger Shroff and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role
Tara Sutaria plays Inaaya, the female lead in Ahmed Khan’s Heropanti 2 starring Tiger Shroff in the lead. The actor has now opened up about her aspirations to work in Hollywood as well.
Talking to Bollywood Hungama while promoting her latest actioner, the actor said that she feels that there is a lack of representation of Indian actors in Hollywood movies whether it is musically or in acting. “I do not want to stick to a bunch of Hollywood movies but I do feel like it would be really nice to approach that sooner rather than later because I don't want to regret it much later”, she said.
The actor however pointed out that her current focus is on doing films in Bollywood and that she has three more movies in the works after Heropanti 2.
Sutaria had earlier revealed that she was supposed to play the role of Princess Jasmine in Guy Ritchie’s Aladdin starring Will Smith, but ended up making her debut with Student of the Year 2 later.
Having made her debut with Student of the Year 2 in 2019, the actor will be seen next in the sequel to the 2014 hit, Ek Villain.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, the movie stars Tiger Shroff in the lead while Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the antagonist. Heropanti 2 also has music composed by A.R. Rahman.
The movie, which came out on April 29, has received negative reviews and has not impressed at the box office. Having earned just under Rs. 5 crore on its first Sunday, the movie is available in theatres.
