Here's why Kiara Advani replaced Shraddha Kapoor in Sajid Nadiadwala’s next

The news about Sajid Nadiadwala’s next film is doing the rounds again. The film had signed Karthik Aaryan and Shraddha Kapoor to play the leads. The duo was all set to share the screen space for the first time but, now it is being said that Shraddha will no longer be part of the project. Kiara Advani has replaced her in the film.

According to what Bollywood Hungama had reported earlier, it seems even though Sajid wanted Shraddha to be a part of the film very badly, he was taken aback after Shraddha Kapoor quoted a remuneration of a whopping Rs 10 crore. Usually, a producer does not negotiate with the actors but when Shraddha demanded a huge hike, he was left with no choice but to let her go. Shraddha has worked with him earlier in movies like Bhaaghi 3 for reportedly a fee of Rs 4 crore. And perhaps, that's why he was taken aback when she asked more than double her previous fees. Sajid tried to rope her in for Rs 7.5 crore and offered a final deal, but she did not budge and rejected the project.

Shraddha had her reasons to quote such a high amount as she is spearheading two female-led films, Naagin and Chaalbaaz, in London. Sajid felt that her acting fees would make the financials of the film go out of control.

Even though Sajid is said to be one of the most dildaar producers in the industry who pays his actors well and meets their demands, he couldn’t heed Shraddha’s demands. "He is happy with Kiara Advani and has signed her for a premium amount, that's slightly more than her market value. Kiara usually charges anywhere between Rs 2 to 2.5 crores for a project,” a source close to the film told the portal.
