The film’s makers are not leaving any stone unturned as far as the film’s publicity is concerned, in order to ensure the film’s boxoffice success. A few days back, Ameesha Patel made news because of her tweet in which she had spoken about the film’s producer Anil Sharma. In a series of tweets, the actress had written, “Another concern of fans has been about certain incidents regarding ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS to have taken place in regards to the final schedule of GADAR 2 that took place end May in CHANDIGARH.”

This time round, it is Ameesha Patel again, who continues to make news with her social media post. What had happened was that, one netizen had tagged Ameesha Patel in a post and asked, “Dear @ameesha_patel mam, We fans of @iamsunnydeol sir & you are very worried seeing all these cheap and sleazy videos and images of the girl @simratkaur_16 who is opposite @iutkarsharma in #Gadar2. How can @Anilsharma_dir cast her in a clean film like #Gadar2 when she has done such cheap work?” For the unversed, Simrat Kaur happens to be Ameesha Patel’s co-star in ‘Gadar 2’.

And as a reply to this, Ameesha Patel took to social media and posted, “Hey my lovely fans!! Pls stop speculating!! Humbly request you to watch Gadar 2 in the theatres on August 11 and give it all ur love !!”. Immediately, after that, Ameesha Patel got trolled for supporting Simrat Kaur. The netizens then started commenting like, “Lagta hai madam ne khud hi yeh kiya hai kisi aur ko target kar k movie ka promo karwa do hadd hai yeh to”, “Great marketing but so outdated, this is soo 2002 babe!”, “Good strategy but we won't fall for it. At first place you should have not entertain them”, “Haan kisi ko shaq bhi nahi ki yeh aapka hi karaya hua negative stunt hai ussko target karne je liye”.

As for the film ‘Gadar 2, it stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel as the leading pair alongwith Utkarsh Sharma and Simrat Kaur in important roles. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film is all set to release in theatres on August 11 this year.
