Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are currently busy promoting their film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. During a promotional event, Akshay made a surprising revelation: that he and his co-star, Tiger, used to curse their director-producer Ali Abbas Zafar! But why, you ask? During a conversation about the action-thriller Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akshay jokingly disclosed that he is a morning person and prefers working during the day. But while shooting for the film, Akshay had to work night shifts and this made him and co-star Tiger curse their producer-director Ali Abbas Zafar.

“I like doing a day shift. He (Tiger) is also a day person. When we have night shifts, both of us curse the producer and director so much,” Akshay revealed in a candid conversation with Amar Ujala Samvad.

The actor also said that he is surprised by people who are night owls. Although he accepted the challenges of his work schedule, he said, “I don’t understand how people wake up at night. But sometimes, when you have work, you have to stay awake,” he said.

Why are early mornings better?

Another highlight of the event was Akshay's speaking about his dedicated routine. The 56-year-old actor shared some insights into his personal schedule, which includes “me time.” The B-town star wakes up 2-3 hours before everyone at home to focus on himself. “Every man needs 2-3 hours. I would tell all of you to have 2-3 hours where you are alone with yourself. That is the best time: when nobody is bothering you. You don’t have to exercise at that time. You can just sit down, think, just gaze.”

He also revealed that he wakes up at around 4 am and indulges in some me time before moving on with his daily workout and work schedule.

Akshay and Tiger recently grabbed attention after performing adrenaline-pumping live stunts during their film’s promotion in Lucknow. The event, which took place on Monday, also made news because of the ruckus and chaos which resulted in the frenzied crowd throwing slippers. However, police later handled the event. Netizens also lauded the calm reaction of the stars.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is slated to be released in theatres on April 11. The action flick also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Ronit Bose Roy in important roles.
