Here's where Sivakarthikeyan's much-awaited film Don will have its premiere show

Nelson Dilipkumar's Doctor was Sivakarthikeyan's first release during the pandemic era. It was also the first big hit of Tamil cinema after the second wave of COVID-19. The star is now ready with his next outing, Don, directed by Cibi Chakaravarthi. The comic caper will hit the screens across Tamil Nadu in a few hours. 

The shows for the movie will start from as early as 4 am in the morning in Chennai and a few other areas. Needless to say, fans of Siva and others who're waiting for the movie are looking forward to catching the earliest show. 

Unlike a few recent biggies, the first show of Don will not be happening in Tamil Nadu. The premiere show will happen at Dubai at 11.30 pm (IST); almost five hours before shows in Tamil Nadu kick off. Movie lovers are eagerly waiting with bated breath to know the response of the audience from the premiere show. 

The chemistry between Sivakarthikeyan and Priyanka Mohan, Anirudh's background score and comedy sequences are expected to be highlights of the movie. SJ Suryah plays the antagonist in Don, which features a bevy of actors like Samuthirakani, Soori, Kaali Venkat, Sivaangi, Balasaravanan and Mirchi Vijay. 

Sivakarthikeyan Productions and Lyca Productions have jointly bankrolled the project which has editing by Nagooran and cinematography by KM Bhaskaran. The movie was initially announced to be releasing on March 25. But the unexpected arrival of RRR made the makers postpone their plans. 

Interestingly, Lyca Productions had bagged theatrical rights of RRR. Sivakarthikeyan was one of the chief guests for the pre release event of the Rajamouli directorial which was held in Chennai. Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies has bagged theatrical rights of Don in Tamil Nadu.
