Here's when the most-anticipated Dhanush's film with Arun Matheswaran will go on floors

Sathya Jyothi Films will be bankrolling the action movie,

Known is the fact that Dhanush has been signing films back-to-back. The actor, who was last seen in Maaran which had a direct release on Disney+ Hotstar, has the bilingual flick Vaathi, Naane Varuven, Hollywood movie The Gray Man, Thiruchitrambalam and an untitled project with Arun Matheswaran.

The announcement of Dhanush acting under Arun's direction was received with massive excitement from fans of the star and other film lovers. The director made heads turn with his debut film Rocky which hit the screens in December. Ever since the film opened to appreciation from critics for its splendid cinematography, unapologetically violent stunt sequences and quality making, the audience were eager to know which movie the filmmaker is going to make next.

In the meantime, they have been waiting for his long-pending project Saani Kaayidham, too, which is now expected to have a direct release on Amazon Prime Video in the first week of April. Acclaimed filmmaker Selvaraghavan is making his acting debut with the film, which is also said to be high on violence. Keerthy Suresh plays the lead role along with Selva in the movie.

Now, according to the grapevine, the Dhanush-Arun movie will commence in May. Sathya Jyothi Films, which bankrolled the actor's Maaran, will be producing this project as well.

The actor's last three outings,Maaran, Atrangi Re and Jagame Thandhiram, had skipped theatrical releases owing to reasons best known to the makers. Fans of Dhanush are now eagerly waiting for his theatrical releases.

His movie with Arun is expected to be an action flick. Dhanush's next theatrical release is likely to be Thiruchitrambalam. Karnan, which won critical acclaim apart from setting cash registers ringing at the box office, was his previous theatrical release.
