Ranbir Kapoor shot for a schedule of Animal helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
To promote their labour of love Brahmastra: Part One—Shiva actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been spotted with director Ayan Mukerji at press conferences and media engagements during September. At the box office, the superhero drama is performing incredibly well, providing Bollywood with that coveted smash. As per reports in Mid Day, Ranbir will move on to his next project, Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, in October.
A source told the tabloid that Ranbir and Alia will keep promoting Brahmastra through the end of September. The crew has created a comprehensive post-release promotional plan that will help generate additional interest in the movie, given the optimistic box office results. After a brief stay in Mumbai in June, Ranbir and Anil Kapoor will begin Animal's Mumbai schedule in the first week of October. The filming will take place in several areas of the city, beginning with Chembur, but the venues haven't yet been set.
Along with Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna, the action movie features a gangster family as its main focus.
Earlier, during an interaction with Pinkvilla, when Ranbir was asked about his character in Animal he said that it has a shocking personality and many ambiguous aspects.
He had also told the entertainment portal that after the release of Brahmastra he would take a two-month hiatus to undergo a small amount of alteration after having shot for a few days. The script for Animal is so much outside of his comfort zone that he's looking forward to it. Ranbir is excited and terrified at the same time.
Animal will hit the big screens in 2023 as the film is yet to be completed.
The actor also has Luv Ranjan's upcoming directorial, featuring Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead. The movie has been wrapped and is set for a 2023 release.
