The RRR star will reportedly make a special appearance in a song in the upcoming Farhad Samji directorial.
Salman Khan’s upcoming project has been grabbing headlines for quite a while now. From reports about changes in its cast and title to rumours that Salman might make his directorial debut with it, the film has found itself in the midst of multiple reports. It was recently reported that the film would feature a cameo involving none other than RRR star Ram Charan.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Ram Charan had gone to visit the film’s sets in Hyderabad. The cast and crew were filming for a ‘larger than life song’ at the time and it was suggested that the RRR star should make a cameo appearance in the song. Ram Charan had ‘graciously’ agreed to the idea as well.
A source told the portal that the song in question was an ‘exciting number’ which was mounted on a huge scale as well. The report also stated that the camaraderie between Salman and Ram Charan in the song was one to ‘look out for’. The source added that as the duo’s ‘bond’ went way back, both of them were happy for the collaboration.The song also reportedly featured Venkatesh. The Hyderabad schedule of the film is expected to be wrapped up within a week, after which the team would head to Mumbai for the next schedule.
The upcoming film, which features Pooja Hegde as the female lead, had previously been titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. But reports are rife that the makers are planning on changing the film’s title to Bhaijaan. The film will reportedly also star Jassie Gill, Palak Tiwari, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam and Shehnaaz Gill, the latter making her Bollywood debut in it. Farhad Samji will direct the film.
