Here’s what the first episode of Netflix’s Bridgerton season 2 is titled

The release date of the second season of the Netflix show is yet to be confirmed,

Netflix confirmed the much-anticipated Bridgerton season 2, last month. The makers of the show recently revealed the title of the first episode of the second instalment.

Creator Chris Van Dusen took a picture of Bridgerton 2’s script that also has the title of the first episode and posted on his Instagram account and captioned it writing, “Capital R Rake” #Bridgerton #Season2 #ItsComing #ScriptsInTheWild”,

The first season ended with a big reveal– the identity of newsletter writer LadyWhistledown who keeps letting out the society’s secrets. It was tough to think of another season, with the perfect conclusion, but the show’s popularity has prompted the makers to focus on another member of the family to take the story forward.

In an early statement confirming the second season, Bridgerton’s executive producer Shonda Rhimes said, “Betsy and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue bringing the world of Bridgerton to a worldwide audience.”,

Earlier this year, a few new pictures from the sets of Bridgerton S2 had surfaced online that made the fans even more eager about the new season. In those viral pictures, a few cast members were seen in the historical British costumes, enjoying a horse race, including Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley, who have joined the cast additionally in the second season.

In an early statement, the VP of global TV at Netflix, Bela Bajaria stated that Shonda’s creative team knew the material and delivered a beautiful, emotional, romantic drama for their members. “They have some exciting plans for the future, and we think audiences will continue to swoon for this show. We’re planning to be in the Bridgerton business for a long time to come,” Bela added further.

Bailey and Phoebe Dynevor will be returning as Anthony Bridgerton and Daphne, Duchess of Hastings, respectively, while the show also includes Charithra Chandra, Shelly Conn, Calam Lynch among others.
