Kriti Sanon has reunited with Kartik Aaryan for the second time in Shehzada.
Kriti Sanon is in a happy yet restless frame of mind. The actor is still benefiting from Mimi (2021), even if her 2022 releases, Bachchhan Paandey and Bhediya garnered a lacklustre reception. She beams as she prepares to begin the year with Shehzada, telling Midday that she is probably in the best stage of her career, but she wants to rise even higher. After the severe Mimi, Kriti was searching for something lighthearted, and the 2020 version of Allu Arjun's Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo looked like the ideal choice.
The actor said that there used to be movies like Hum Aapke Hain Koun in the 1990s that were pure entertainment. They ceased producing these movies at some point, and a contemporary film in that style is Shehzada.
The character played by Kartik Aaryan is at the heart of Rohit Dhawan's film. When asked if she was worried that she wouldn't be the protagonist, Kriti replied that her part has been modified from the original. The female character in the original wasn't a lawyer, and she portrays one. Independent, self-sufficient, and outspoken describe her character in Shehzada. New scenes are present, and the movie Shehzada is dominated by men. Earlier, damsels in distress and submissive women dominated these films' female casts, but that's changing.
The actor is juggling The Crew in which she stars alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu, with the masala movie. Kriti said that actors don't frequently get to work together with female performers, who she admires. The friendship between the three protagonists is the main theme of this movie. Since they belong to three different generations, getting together will be fun.
Kriti's Adipurush will be released before The Crew hits theatres. Although the public criticised the movie's teaser, she is optimistic about the finished product. The actor said that there is much more to the movie than what was teased in the first minute and 35 seconds. Nowadays, people criticise anything you put out so swiftly, and it's regrettable.
