Her is set to begin streaming on Manorama Max and OTTplay Premium from November 29. It will be a Manorama Max original. Lijin Jose had previously directed Fahadh Faasil-starrer Friday, Kunchacko Boban’s Law Point and also helmed the documentary on the late director KG George titled 8 ½ Intercuts. The filmmaker has also completed shooting for Roshan Mathew and Nimisha Sajayan’s Chera.
Her, which is scripted by Archana Vasudev, reportedly revolves around five women. While Pratap Pothen and Urvashi play a couple in the film, the characters of other actors in the movie are yet to be revealed. The filmmaker had earlier stated in an interview that though the stories of the five women are independent, they are also “interconnected at the same time”. Rajesh Madhavan also essays a pivotal role in Her, which has music composed by Govind Vasantha.
Parvathy had last starred in Ullozhukku, which also had her teaming up with Urvashi. The acclaimed film, which was directed by Christo Tomy, had the duo playing a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law and is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Meanwhile, Her marks the second women-centric project by Manorama Max in the span of two months, following Soul Stories that had Sushasini Maniratnam and Anarkali Marikar.
