Henry Cavill to Play a Mutant in the MCU?

There has been a lot of buzz ever since the rumour that Henry Cavill has said yes to playing an undisclosed Marvel character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Over the last couple of years, fans have wanted the Superman alum to make his Marvel debut as multiple characters. Not just that, rumours in the past have multiple times said that he has had many conversations with the studio to debut as several different characters. It seemed that there was some weight to these rumours. But there is a massive twist to this entire episode.

Henry Cavill to Play a Mutant?

When the latest rumour about Henry making his MCU debut broke, the shocking news was that he was not playing Doctor Doom but some other part. The speculations at that point were that the actor might be making his MCU debut as Captain Britain, Hyperion or Nova. But there is now an additional rumour that is so wild that it will leave you on the edge of your seat. As per the latest post on X by a scooper, Holy Field M5, Henry is playing an X-Men in the MCU: Wolverine.

Yes, you have heard that right. As per the scooper, the Superman actor might play Wolverine or Cyclops in the MCU. While Cyclops is still believable, the most confusing and shocking is Wolverine. This is because Hugh Jackman is already set to make his MCU debut as Wolverine in 'Deadpool & Wolverine'. So thinking of two Wolverines entering the universe around the same time is wild. But now that the studio is dealing with the multiverse, there is always the possibility of variants.
