Rakshit Shetty's second look from the film, wherein the actor bears a scarred face and a greying stubble, was unveiled recently
As promised, the team of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello is here with Rakshit Shetty's second look in the film. The film comprises two separate timelines that are ten years apart with Rakshit bearing two distinct and contrasting looks in the film. The new look, termed Ten Years Later presents an intense and damaged side to his character Manu with a much heavier body frame, a scarred & stubbled face and an all-black costume ensemble.
Sapta Sagaradaache Ello, a romance story at heart, boasts of a certain kind of poetic intensity, and the makers have been striving hard to capture the same in their publicity material. Rukmini Vasanth plays Priya in the film and her look too suggests that Hemanth M. Rao is pursuing an unorthodox love story that brims with intrigue and mood. The team is currently in between schedules with Rakshit Shetty taking the time off to gain weight and work on his new look, albeit in a controlled manner.
"Rakshit's second look does echo the element of "darkness" about the story but one has to wait for the trailer to find out the exact measure of that darkness. The two timelines in the story are a decade apart and we are justifying that through the stark change in his appearance - you know, with the weight gain, greying beard, and scars on his face. Plus, the second half of the story will have an addition to the cast and we plan on revealing the identity of the new actress pretty soon. The new character has a romantic angle with Rakshit's Manu in the film and things take a new shape upon her entry," shares Hemanth Rao.
On account of all the public appearances that the actor has been making of late, the new look (post the weight gain) in Sapta Sagaradaache Ello has already become a subject of intrigue for the audience and the makers were prompted to unveil the poster a tad earlier than planned. As far as the upcoming long and arduous schedule is concerned, Hemanth M. Rao adds:
"As far as the weight gain is concerned, Rakshit has another 10 kgs to go but we have enough time before the next schedule begins. He will be busy with 777 Charlie promotions and plans on taking a small break after that, so the next schedule will take off by the end of June. It will be a long, 50-day one but we wish to wrap things up by its end. The shoot will predominantly be in Bengaluru but there is a small but important portion to be shot by the sea as well".
