Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses is due to premiere on Prime Video in India on November 29.
This year celebrates the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone so it's an exciting moment. In honour of this magical occasion, Prime Video has announced that Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses will be streamed by them in India. Starting November 29, fans may watch the four-part special event, which will be hosted by Academy Award-winning actress Helen Mirren, on the streaming site.
Fans representing each of the four Hogwarts houses will compete for ultimate fan glory on a never-before-seen scale in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses. Each one-hour episode will include two houses, with Gryffindor facing Hufflepuff on November 29, Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin on December 6, and a special wildcard round on December 13, including the two losing houses. The winning team will compete for the ultimate distinction of being declared House Cup champion in the Grand Finale, which will be streamed on December 20.
Fans will compete in teams of three for their Hogwarts house in the bracket-style competition. Houses compete in four epic fights, answering hundreds of trivia questions about the Wizarding World with the help of the live crowd to determine which house knows the meticulously complex cosmos like the back of their hand. The winning teams from each stage will compete in the Tournament of Houses championship to determine who will take home the trophy.
Tom Felton, Simon Fisher-Becker, Shirley Henderson, Luke Youngblood, and others from the Harry Potter franchise will appear in cameos with super fans Pete Davidson and Jay Leno.
