The popular 2016 Chinese BL (Boy's Love) series "Addicted / Heroin" is set to receive a Thai adaptation titled "Heroin The Series." Hollywood Thailand, the production company responsible for the 2022 Thai adaptation of "Love Stage" featuring KaownahTurbo, is collaborating with Golden Dog for this project.

However, the announcement has sparked an online backlash, particularly on X (formerly known as Twitter), primarily due to the significant age difference between the lead actors. August Vachiravit, aged 27, is paired with Nattapat, who is only 16 years old, leading fans to question the decision to cast a minor in such a role.
There is currently no information regarding the completion of filming for the series or its release date for fans. However, given the backlash it is facing, it remains to be seen whether any changes will be made to the lead actors.

The Thai actor is known for his appearance in the 2013 drama "Thong Nuea Kao," Mac Nattapat Nimjirawat is the younger brother of Mind Naphatthanan Nimjirawat.
