Has Tara Sutaria replaced Kiara Advani in Murad Khetani's next?

The actor was supposed to be a part of the film titled, Apurva.

Tara Sutaria is rumoured to have replaced Kiara Advani in producer Murad Khetani's upcoming film, Apurva. Kiara was the producer's first pick for the woman-centric thriller because she was the main lady in the Murad-backed Kabir Singh (2019).

As per reports in Mid Day, Kiara and her team believed that the comparatively low-budget film didn't fit into the scheme of things because she already had other large projects on the go. Even though she enjoyed the writing, she politely declined.

However, the reports have turned out to be untrue! Contrary to reports, Tara is the only one who has been approached for the role in Khetani's upcoming production.

Meanwhile, Kiara will next be seen in Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, in which she is paired opposite Kartik Aaryan.

The actor also has Shashank Khaitan's Govinda Naam Mera alongside Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar. She also stars in Jug Jugg Jeeyo with Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Prajakta Koli. Both the films are co-produced by Karan Johar under his home banner, Dharma Productions.

Kiara had only one release in 2021, Shershaah in which she was seen as Dimple Cheema opposite Sidharth Malhotra. The film struck the right chord among the masses and became a hit OTT release on Amazon Prime Video.

Whereas, Tara will next be seen in Heropanti 2 opposite Tiger Shroff. The Ahmed Khan directorial marks the reunion of the Student of the Year 2 pair. The actor also has Ek Villain Returns in her kitty, in which she features alongside John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor and Disha Patani.

Tara's latest film is Tadap which marked the Bollywood debut of Ahan Shetty. The film, directed by Milan Luthria, was a theatrical release and is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
