Despite the average B-O performance of ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, Aditya Chopra is betting big on Sharvari Wagh
If there’s one person who is all smiles and has every reason to be so, then, it’s a no brainer to say that, it is indeed the lovely Alia Bhatt. Besides being the poster girl of Bollywood, Alia Bhatt has got her plates full at the moment. She has way too many prestigious projects tucked under her belt now. On one hand, she is super busy with the promotional schedule of the much-awaited ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ (the first set of promotion of the film got kickstarted with Ahmedabad recently), on the other hand, she is now also all set for her Hollywood debut ‘Heart Of Stone’, in which her co-stars are Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo, Matthias Schweighöfer, Jing Lusi and Paul Ready.
Amidst all this, there came a bumper of a news which stated that YRF has now signed Alia Bhatt for its spy-verse. With this, Alia Bhatt became the first lady to be a part of the YRF’s ‘spy-verse’. As per a news report in Bollywood Hungama, Sharvari Wagh has now been signed as well for the Alia Bhatt-led YRF ‘spy-verse’.
The said news reported quoted a source stating that, ‘Sharvari Wagh had managed to impress everyone with her performance in ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ but unfortunately, the film didn't do well at the box office. But Aditya Chopra is betting big on her to be the next big star of Bollywood as he is aware of her acting talent and that’s why he will be reintroducing Sharvari in an action-packed avatar as a spy in the YRF Spy Universe’. Meanwhile, there are also rumours about Alia Bhatt’s character in the said film will be seen without any make-up.
