Director AL Vijay, who last directed the Tamil action drama Mission: Chapter 1, announced that his next film will feature the Tanu Weds Manu leads, Kangana Ranaut and Madhavan. While the production of the upcoming film is underway, reports have surfaced that Harris Jayaraj is on board the project to score the music. While the makers have remained tight-lipped about the film's details and progress, it is tipped to be a psychological thriller. The film was launched in November last year and the shooting is currently happening. AL Vijay is also known to collaborate largely with GV Prakash. The duo has had hits like Deivathirumagal, Saivam, and Madrasapattinam, to name a few.
An official announcement on Harris Jayaraj’s involvement is expected to be made official soon. The upcoming Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut-starrer is produced by Trident Arts and Ahimsa Entertainment production banners.
Harris Jayaraj had last composed music for the 2022 Tamil film The Legend. The filmmaker had also worked with director Gautham Vasudev Menon in Dhruva Natchathiram: Chapter One – Yuddha Kaandam, starring Vikram. However, the film has yet to see the light of day due to many financial issues. In the meantime, Harris also worked in Telugu on Nithiin's Extra Ordinary Man and will be scoring music for Jayam Ravi-starrer Brother and Naga Shuarya’s film in Telugu.
