Harman Baweja plays the role of ACP Shroff in the Netflix series.
Scoop on Netflix left everyone surprised because of one actor who has been away from the screen for a very long time. Yes, we are referring to Harman Baweja, who plays ACP Shroff in the Hansal Mehta-produced series. The actor left an impressive mark as a cop with grey shades in the biographical show led by Karishma Tanna. Since Harman made his Bollywood debut, people have been critical of his work and also called him the lookalike of Hrithik Roshan.
Thus, with Netflix India, the actor decided to get into some self-depricating humour, and it's a fun watch indeed! The video starts with Harman saying, "Oh God! Please. Let me silence my Hrithiks. I mean critics. I thought I knew what the future would be, but I was wrong. But I was not the only one; even they were wrong. You know what I call my haters? Critic Roshans!"
The actor also spoke about his second inning in acting by stating, "So guys, I am looking to start my second inning in acting. No, I am not talking about Victory's sequel. I am talking about Scoop on Netflix. I need your blessings today for better reviews."
While reading reviews, Harman observes that many have not recognised him and call him a debutant. To which he reacts, "How can you not recognise that it's me? I mean, I look the same, a little bit different. Not so different. I mean, I don't f***ing get it!"
Harman made his acting debut in 2008 with Love Story 2050 opposite Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Since then, the actor has appeared in movies such as Victory, What's Your Raashee?, Dishkiyaoon, and It's My Life.
He has also been producing films like Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai?, Chaar Sahibzaade: Rise of Banda Singh Bahadur, Jinne Jamme Saare Nikamme and Honeymoon.
