The impressive trailer
The plot of the film is set in a mountainous village in Theni where a new postman arrives and has a life-changing moment. One day, while delivering a letter atop a mountain top, he happens to listen to the story of Harkara, India's first ever postman, who lived 150 years ago. He was not only the darling of the village, but also fought against the British. While Kaali Venkat plays a postman of contemporary times, Ram Arun Castro plays the Harkara.

An ode to postal services and postmen
The team recently dropped a video by author and historian Steve Borgia, who called the film a tribute of sorts to the forgotten postmen and postal services. "When the British came to Calcutta and settled in India, their very first employee was a postman. They almost lost their lives while doing the job. Those days, postmen were a crucial part of the lives of people. Right from reading out a letter, to acting as a delivery service for medicines to even finding grooms and brides, they were the nucleus of the society."
Behind The Scenes
The trailer was released by postmen and postwomen in Tamil Nadu.
