The star's next outing, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, will hit the screens on March 30
Pawan Kalyan with Harish Shankar
Pawan Kalyan's next project is the period flick Hari Hara Veera Mallu which is being helmed by Krish. The project is expected to hit the screens in multiple languages on March 30. However, fans of the star are now worried about their matinee idol's forthcoming film with Harish Shankar.
The two had earlier teamed up for Gabbar Singh in 2012 which went on to become a blockbuster and marked the star's much-awaited comeback after a string of flops. Naturally, the actor-filmmaker duo joining hands again brought excitement among film buffs.
A year ago, Harish had announced that their project has been titled Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh and unveiled a poster of the movie. However, as per the grapevine, the movie has been shelved temporarily and they are considering another story for their reunion. There are speculation that the two are likely to do the remake of 2016 Tamil movie Theri, which has Vijay playing the lead in it.
This hasn't gone down well with Pawan fans and they took to Twitter to trend the hashtag #WeDontWantTheriRemakeNow. The hashtag has become viral in the last two days, and Harish has liked a couple of tweets from fans in which they have requested him not to come up with a remake.
As fans are keeping their fingers crossed, Harish has surprised them by posting a picture with Pawan from the location of Hari Hara Veera Mallu. He also posted a picture in which he posed for a photo with the movie's director Krish. His tweet read, "Had a great time on the sets of #HHVM thank you @DirKrish for the reception @MythriOfficial. Let’s Rock (sic)."
Interestingly, one of the fans went to the extent of writing a suicide letter which went viral on social media. He accused Harish and production house Mythri Movie Makers for his decision.
