The first look was launched in the presence of the producers Amulya Reddy Yalamuri, Naveen Reddy Vuyyuru, director VRK and Thrigun
Thrigun (formerly known as Adith Arun) was in the news recently for the intriguing trailer of Ram Gopal Varma’s political drama Kondaa, the biopic of the controversial lives of Konda Murali and his better half Konda Surekha. The actor will next been seen in a rustic actioner, to be helmed by VRK.
The title of the film and the first look were launched by Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh director Harish Shankar today commemorating Thrigun’s birthday. Titled Kirayi, the first look of the film has Thrigun giving an intense stare, while holding a cigarette. The sparks on the title hint at an engrossing crime drama.
The black-and-white backdrop of the poster also suggest that it’s a period film. “I’m very happy to launch the first look of Kondaa-fame Thrigun’s Kirayi. The look is extremely interesting and the makers have told me that Thrigun will have a role with multiple shades. I am in fact curious to watch the film,” Harish Shankar said.
“Naveen Reddy and Amulya Reddy are extremely passionate producers and the director VRK looks like a promising find. I wish nothing but the best for team Kirayi,” he added. Sujatha Siddharth has cranked the camera for the film which has music by Hari Gowra and is edited by Dharmendra Kasarla.
Bharath Kumar Pogula has penned the dialogues for the film whose songs are lyricised by Kasarla Shyam, Suddala Ashok Teja, Ramajogayya Sasry. VRK has also written the story produced under Say Creations. Thrigun’s last release was the cyber-crime thriller WWW on SonyLIV.
