Debutant director Naveen Dwarakanath’s For Regn, starring Pruthvi Ambaar and Milana Nagaraj in the lead, released in theatres on February 23. Prior to its theatrical outing, the team was tight-lipped about the subject and revealed only a trailer, a very romantic number called Kaddu Kaddu and the sad number Onde Ondu Saari. While the songs by RK Harish had a fresh feel about them, there was one number in the film that was meant to tug at the heart strings of the women in the audience.

Haraisuve, written by Kaviraj and sung by Vijay Prakash, is a beautiful number that captures all the myriad emotions a mother feels when her daughter is set to get married and move out of the household. Picturized on Swathi and Milana Nagaraj as the mother-daughter duo, mainly, as well as the rest of the cast, the full video of which is now available to watch.

Pruthvi Ambaar on his 2-film clash on February 23: Both teams have valid reasons

For Regn is a film that revolves around a couple, Ashu (Pruthvi) and Anvi (Milana), who fall in love and get married without telling their respective families, as her mother is not a fan of love marriages. When the immediate family gets wind of their relationship, though, there are no fireworks, instead, they get their blessings, provided they agree to have a more public wedding for the benefit of extended family.

After some minor issues owing to the cultural differences of Ashu’s folks from Bengaluru and Anvi’s Mangalorean family, everything seems fine, until an issue at work begins to consume Ashu to such an extent that it affects his relationship with Anvi. Whether or not they are able to figure out their issues and find their happily-ever-after is what the film is about.

For Regn movie review: Unimaginative writing and stale comedy spoil this Pruthvi Ambaar and Milana Nagaraj-led flick

For Regn, incidentally, was one of three releases that leading man Pruthvi had in February. In fact, he also had a film called Matsyagandha in theatres on February 23, which saw the actor play a rough-and-tough cop for the first time in a Kannada movie.
