Actually, what had happened was that, Kareena Kapoor was not supposed to be her name. before you may wonder about the original suggested name, let us tell you that it was actually Siddhima, as per media reports. And the name Siddhima was suggested by her (late) grandfather Raj Kapoor, who is often referred to the undisputed original showman of the film industry. Wait… the media reports also state that, Kareena Kapoor’s mother Babita, then, changed the name from Siddhima to Kareena, which was inspired by Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina! Some literary thinking this!
Kareena Kapoor was not preparing to be an actress at all!

She was actually aspiring to become a criminal lawyer. And as a step in that direction, she had even studied a a short duration course in law!
